How It Works
Access, handled before you arrive.
Reset sits between productions and the owners of remarkable spaces — so the location that looks right is also one you can actually get into.
The Process
From brief to shoot, step by step.
- 01
You tell us what the scene needs.
The look, the logistics, the timeline, the problem you're solving. No account, no browsing — just the brief.
- 02
A person reviews your request.
Every request is read by a human, not routed by an algorithm. The team reviews the look, region, timing, and production requirements.
- 03
We check the book against your brief.
We match your requirement to privately represented spaces — and tell you honestly whether it's a strong match, a partial one, or not a fit.
- 04
Private details are shared — with the right people.
Once your request is vetted, we share the specific options: real images, location, and the practical details you need to plan.
- 05
The owner approves the shoot.
Nothing moves forward without the owner's sign-off. They approve the production, the dates, and the terms.
- 06
You shoot with access already handled.
The hard part — getting in the door — is done. You arrive to a location that's real, ready, and expecting you.
After you request
A person reviews your brief and the timeline you provide before following up with realistic next steps.
What we check
We test your brief against the book honestly: strong match, partial, or no fit. We'd rather tell you the truth than waste your day.
When details are shared
Addresses, owners, and full galleries are shared only after your request is vetted — never on a public page.
Before We Recommend Anything
We'd rather send you three that work than thirty that don't.
- Whether the space genuinely matches the brief — not just close enough.
- Whether access is realistic for your timeline and footprint.
- Whether the owner is open to your specific production.
- Whether the logistics — power, parking, staging — actually work.
Both Sides Of The Door
One model that protects everyone.
For Productions
- No endless scouting or dead-end listings.
- Curated options that actually fit the brief.
- Access arranged before you commit.
- A real person on the other end.
For Owners
- No public listing, no public address.
- You approve every opportunity.
- Nothing shared without your sign-off.
How it works, in detail.
No. There's no login and nothing to browse. You send a short brief describing what the scene needs, and a person takes it from there.
Because the value of these locations depends on discretion. Owners work with Reset precisely because their spaces stay private until a vetted, approved production comes along. Public browsing would burn exactly what makes them worth having.
We'll tell you honestly. Sometimes it's a partial match worth discussing; sometimes it isn't a fit and we'll say so rather than waste your time. Either way you get a straight answer from a person.
No — and we're deliberate about this. Productions keep their own location departments, and permits, insurance, and crew logistics stay where they belong: with the production. Reset represents the property side — the owner relationship, access, and building coordination. We work alongside a production's team, never in place of it.
Nothing about an owner's property is public. Details are shared only with vetted productions, and no shoot happens without the owner's explicit approval of the production, dates, and terms.
